What a legacy ! This makes me think of a training I was in with a man named John Schneider on Transgenerational Grief. Do we leave a liability or a legacy? Sharing our gifts with the next generation is a legacy. Thank you, Jim.
Jim – I heard a tinge of pride in your voice as you narrated this 1-Minute Inspiration–and justifiably so! It’s obvious that “the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree” even if there is a generation in between. Very nice!!!
I had just come from a visit with a patient in our electrical-injury burn clinic when I opened this fine (as always) gift. He and I had been talking about the grief he is experiencing and the losses he has incurred as a result of a profound electrical injury. We had been discussing the things he has lost but also those things he has left. After I saw this “Inspiration”, I brought him to my office to see it. It was a moving gift for him, as well. Thank you from both of us.
Precious and powerful beyond words…!
Jim has been blessed in his life, and the one matter that makes him really special to all of us, he knows who has blessed him. He reminds me a wee bit of the apostle Peter, who died as he lived, and that is loving God.
